Twenty-five years ago, De Rosa embarked on a journey with carbon,treating it as one would a treasured metal: with reverence, with meticulous attention, and with hands attuned to the subtle vibrations ofthe material.

Today, that narrative unfolds with a name that represents so much more than just a role model: IDOL.

The journey of the model's evolution has been marked by several significant milestones. The first-generation carbon Idol showcased ground breaking innovations for its era, including the integrated seatpostand a frame crafted with meticulous tube-to-tube techniques, alldeveloped in-house at De Rosa.

It was a remarkable triumph: Stefano Garzelli and the Acqua & Saponeteam brought it to the Giro d'Italia, with Garzelli clinching victory in two stages in 2007, establishing Idol as one of De Rosa's most covetedmodels.

In the 2014/15 season, De Rosa unveiled the Idol Disc version,embracing the rise of disc brakes in the cycling world. Since that moment, the Idol has stood as the cornerstone of the collection,evolving with ongoing enhancements in both design and craftsmanship.

2019 brings complete cable integration, enhanced graphics, and refinedframes, all while preserving the renowned “Arc Slope” geometry that hasestablished its legacy over the years.
